What the NEET bulletin asks for
The NEET (UG) 2026 Information Bulletin asks for a passport-size photograph in JPG/JPEG format between 10 and 200 KB, and a signature in JPG/JPEG between 10 and 100 KB. For the photograph it adds that the face should be visible about 80% (without a mask, ears included) against a white background. Colour or black-and-white are both accepted. The bulletin gives no pixel or centimetre size, so this page only controls the file size.
Step by step
- Photo: take it in daylight against a plain white wall, face straight to the camera, ears visible, with the face filling most of the frame.
- Open this page, choose the photo and wait for the green “Meets: 10–200 KB” message. Download it.
- Signature: use the “Fit for…” box to switch to NEET UG — Signature, choose a clear picture of your signature on white paper and download the 10–100 KB result.
Upload them in the correct slots; NEET has separate fields for photo and signature, and the two limits are different.
Avoiding common rejections
- Selfies with shadows on the face or a coloured wall can be rejected on the white-background rule, and no resizer can fix that after the fact; retake the photo.
- A file under 10 KB is also invalid. If your result is too small, enter 10 in the minimum field (it's already set by this preset).
- Keep the file as JPG/JPEG, not PNG or HEIC.
